Update and Change

The use of 365 Jedi gets to change again. I just spent the weekend at the annual Jedi Gathering. An interesting event to say the least. I have walked away with an appreciation of the Jedi Academy Online and the way we do things here. I have also gained a new outlook and appreciation for the diversity of our Jedi community.

The main thing that stuck with me is that I cannot sit back in the shadows. Meaning I cannot remain behind closed doors. There seems to be this line int he Jedi community in displaying accomplishments and bragging. The Jedi have this whole humility thing, but that is often misunderstood and instead they extol false humility and false modesty. It is something I have struggled with and in that struggle I simply kept my mouth shut.

I’ll be changing that to an extent. I am going to use 365 Jedi as my journal. My Jedi Blog to talk about my normal everyday activities. That will be as boring as the dinner I am currently making, sharing recipes, and maybe a rambling on diet (eating habits). It will be mundane as why I enjoy a certain show or a rant on why cell phones are awesome, but killing our society. There may be awesome Jedi moments. There will be updates on books, projects, personal thoughts on community happenings, and events like the Jedi Gathering (that post will be coming soon).

This will be a place for my personal thoughts. Me, as a Jedi, as a person. This means there will be questionable moments. As a blog or journal or whatever you want to call this, I will be working out my own feelings and thoughts in a public place. That is tough as it requires the readers to acknowledge and understand this simple concept. If I am frustrated my thoughts my not be the shiny paragon example of Jedi Knighthood. But that is simply meant to show that hey! Guess what? Jedi are human. People piss me off. And like everyone else I need to process that. Yet hopefully it will also show the Jedi way to do that and the Jedi action associated with it, and the Jedi outcome in the end. That is the hope anyhow.

No set schedule. Maybe daily. Maybe not. But certainly more active and much much longer use than my previous attempts at using this thing. OH! I’ll still be using this for specific articles for the website as well. I’ll do my best to tag them accordingly. And correct the tags already in use.

365 Jedi, Take Three. Here is to hoping the third time is the charm.
